Lakes | Trailheads

This Design-Build project, currently in progress, involves the construction of a significant community sports park with challenging geological and drainage terrain in north Peoria. The large community park will occupy 85 acres of the New River Flood Impoundment Reservoir which requires extensive coordination with the City of Peoria, Flood Control District of Maricopa County, and the US Army Corps of Engineers. The programming includes four baseball fields, four soccer (or multi-purpose) fields, an urban fishing lake with irrigation function, iconic play areas, a splashpad, dog park, trailhead, public art integration and other features. The infrastructure includes a signalized intersection, challenging entry roads, a utility crossing of a flood control levee, rock excavation, flood basin compliance and other requirements.
